I was under the impression he wanted a daily driver with a decent amount of power. A 351W can be rebuilt and get good power within his budget and get better mileage than a 460 or FE in a fairly light RC SB. You can get a Ford Racing M-6007-S58 351 with warrenty for under $3k. JMO.
