C6 trans modulator
ok men get those thinking caps on...Past few months i notice when the trans is shifting from 1st to 2nd it takes a few seconds before it shifts ...like it's slipping...So i took out the old trans modulator an notice the adjustment screw was not their...Now the new 1 has it...So i put it in and added some tranny fluid...warm up the truck went to put it in gear an it takes like 20 sec's before it go's in too gear...also any gear aswell.....I mess around with the screw and really didnot see any difference....once i get it to go in gear an start driving it seams ok until i go to stop an then nothing......have to wait again...Also when it gets going it start's slipping in an out of gear .....So i took out the adjustment screw like on the old 1 and it shifts fine but still does the same thing as the old 1...from 1st to 2nd Any thought's......

I had a 77 F-150 with a 400m and a c6, They listed two diffrent ones . I am having a brain fart but I think there is a painted band on it one was yellow the other was purple. The only one the part store had was the yellow. I used it but the darn thing would shift to soon, so couldnt get them rpms up for the shift into third. That was a few years back so this is all a little fuzzy. Something to check on! pod
