backup lights not working

I have an 87 F-150 and my back-up lights aren't working.

Checked the bulbs and all is good.

I know there's a switch, where is it? On the column?

Once I find it, do I just replace it or are there other typical issues?

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

backup lights not working

I had the same problem with my truck. All I did was I rewired the whole light assembly and then played around with the shifter to knock anything loose or get the connection working and now they work. They will sometimes cut out but I just have to shake the shifter and it comes back on.
Hope that helps.
