I'm haveing problems (agian) with my headlights not comeing on when i pull the switch all the way out to the second detent, i sprayed the switch with contact cleaner the last time i had this problem and they worked for a couple days, now i'm back to square one. I'm getting power up to the park lights now but nothing to the headlights. Any idea's will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Mike, pull out the switch and check for voltage at the `dimmer` switch on the floorboard. Both high and low go through it!
If you have voltage there it may be in the relay.
Change the switch at the dash!!

Thanks for the tip John, it ended up being the dimmer switch. I had replaced this once before so i took the bad one in for exchange on a new one, hopefully this one lasts me.

mikes66,
If you are having problems with the dimmer switch, check for water or moisture around the switch. If you dont like the foot operation (if you have a standard) you could use a Two position Toggle switch mounted to the dash or column.

Thanks for the tips everyone, problem has been resolved for now, the second dimmer swith i put in seems to be doing the job. If i have any further problems with it i'll consider the toggle switch.
