Edi 4.0l

There is a small black electronic devise on the passenger side fender wall by the air box. It has a bunch of wires running to it. It has EDI stamped on it. Does this run the electronic distributor less ignition? If so can i move it to another location? Does it need to be mounted parallel and plumb like it is now? I'm building a snorkel and may need to move it. Thanks RB

You should be able to move it to anywhere that it can get good ventilation, and good electrical ground.

Awesome ORV, by the way. Do you find that the long tail of the extended van gives you clearance problems when going over those nasty terrains?

I moved the rear axle back about 5" so departure angle is awesome. However the 123" wheelbase makes for a poor break over angle. It is fun to drive tho. RB
