need advice, iwas pulling a 25' travel trailer today, 60 mph, boost never went above 20-25. after about 15miles, turbo linefrom intercooler i think blew off, with enough force to pindent my hood. pulled over and reattached hose. i dropped off the trailer, only about 2 miles away by then. driving home, blew off again. stopped, replaced, and torqued tighter. emissions light was lit on dash. went by dealership, wanted them to at least check and make sure clamps were torqued correctly, i have had the truck 3 weeks, is a ford buyback truck. i know they had the motor out. dealership told me i would have to leave the truck with them for 2-3 weeks just to check tightness of clamps, much less check to see why emissions light is on. pretty poor. i am supposed to be pulling this trailer on a 7 hour trip saturday to new hunting club. any advice? thanks truck is a 2006 f350 with 37k miles.

 

Take the hose off and clean hose and tube with brake cleaner. Spray inside of hose and outside of tube with hairspray and re-install with new clamp. Keep old clamp for emergencies only.

just want to update, went to different dealer, this one took me in first thing the next morning, replaced egr and a sensor, cleaned hose and reinstalled. allcovered by warranty. next morning towed 25' travel trailer 10 hours to hunting club in wv, nooo problems. lovin' this psd
