Hey TLF, question for you on the matching color backs on your new '08 mirrors. I've got a white KR I want to do '08 mirrors on, but I like the color-matched white backs my current mirrors have. Did you order the color matched backs seperately? Or some blanks and have them painted?
The only thing I'm not clear on are the plastic painted parts themselves. On the pre-08 mirrors, that's a plastic piece that snaps off for painting. On the the '08 mirrors, on the NON-King Ranch versions, the back just looked "textured" and black. Your's and other '08 KR versions I've seen are smooth on the back painted parts, so I'm not sure if they are removeable for painting, and if the smooth plastic areas were snap on, etc.??
Sorry for the questions, I'm really in the market for some, but want to have them matching white like my current KR mirrors.
Thanks,
TX
