I got my front clip off my 66 today and saw that where the front cab corners are (not the front cab mount) rusted. This is where the bottom of the fender mounts. Do they make any replacment pieces or do I have to make them myself?
On the cab...those lil tab looking things...if those are rusted/rotted away...thats fabrication time...and welding time...no patch panels at all are made for the cabs except for floor pan sections, rear cab corners and the front cab mounts.

I can't tell by the pic if this is what you need or not, but take a look here:
carolina-classics.com / Catalog: page 13 ~ Front cab corners.
I'm fixing mine now and had to fab the drivers side out of a corner of a hood from the 74 donor, nearly complete, but now with Bill's find I'll be calling Carolina Classics this afternoon and ordering the passenger side if it is indeed the cowl piece I think we are talking about, the picture in the catalog may be for an earlier year as the curves look sharper than my cowl.
My patch came out great, but it took hours and hours and several pieces to match the many compound curves. $45 for the patch panel is well worth it.

Thanks Bill
They make these front cab corners for several different models. The type for 1961/64 (and others...see next line) is different according to what the catalog sez.
1965 F100/250 4WD's, 1966 F250 4WD's, and 1965/66 F350's use the same cab that was used 1961/64.
1966 F100 4WD and 1965/66 2WD's use a different cab...there's no stepwell in these cabs.
Give them a call for an explanation of what the horribly dark picture depicts. It's very hard to make out: 800-598-4211.
I called and Rick said it was a cab support for a 61-64. They do not make a cowl panel for the 65-66 and have no plans to do so. Told me business is so bad that they plan no new parts.
I have the drivers side done and it turned out very nice. I had to make it in several peices and weld it all together, but the compound curves all line up perfectly, just takes time. Passenger side is the worse of the two, not much left to match to. Thought about buying one of his early cowl patches so I could at least start with a shape that was close.
