Big Brown is Down...Won't start!
I bought a 72 F100 this week. Drove it for @ 200 miles. Now she won't start.
360/c6, ps,pb,front disk conversion, Mallory Unilite dist. w/vac. adv..
1- I have spark
Also installed new Autolites.
2-Checked static timing. Good.
3-I have gas at carb., fuel sprays inside when throttled.
I rebuilt the carb just to be on the safe side.
4-Installed new fuel pump w/ filter.
5-Cold compression test. from 95 to 115psi, except #7 cyl.=82 psi.This still within 25% tolerance, Right?
No open vacuum lines.
I'm stuck. Anyone have any suggestions besides... fire.
It just cranks. No backfire. No sputter. What amI missing?
