Which aftermarket intake?
I've had good luck with JLT products in the Mustang scene and I see they make an intake for the 04+ F150's. Here is a link:

What others have you guys found that works well? I'm already assuming that the 3v's in the trucks are just like the Mustangs that ANY mod requires custom tuning and I will be combining whatever intake I go with with Custom SCT tuning using an XCal3

I custom tuned on the dyno and found the AirForce1 3-1/2 intake had better numbers
than most of the other intakes, including JLT and Volant.
If you go with an AF1 you will need to custom tune or you will run lean.
The custom tuning intake and exhaust upgrades were well worth the money and effort IMHO.
