Talking Another crazy idea

I was talking to someone the other day about getting my firewall fixed on my '96 and the subject of replacing the cab came up. I started to imagine what my truck would be like with a late model ('03-"07) body on it. I know that one of the FTE Sponsors sells this complete cab in the nieborhood of $5,000

Any ideas. Like I said, Me and my crazy ideas.

Well, it would look pretty bad without a matching bed...

I think you would run into significant problems though... A lot of people switch out their 80-86 cab for an 87-96 cab because not that many changes were made between those years... However, after 1996 I'm pretty sure the f-series went under then knife and had some serious changes made to it (excluding the 1997 f-250/350.) Maybe somebody will read this who knows a bit more about the technical aspects of such a swap... But you would be revered among us if you did such a thing...

I'm pretty sure you are right. I get ideas like this from time to time. When I get the chance I may just do some measureing to see what the difference is fitment wise.

One thing though, If I was to do this, would I still be able to post here or would I have to post on the '05 forum?

PC. I tried to watch a 5-car pilup video and wound up getting Antivirus XP 2008 on my computer. Only two ways to get rid of it. Low level format and replace hard drive.

I performed the low level format. Sucks because it shut me down for a couple of days.

It poped up with a EULA that said antivirus XP 2008 on the top and there was no option to decline the EULA or close the window.

I just removed that off my friends pc it was a royal pita but i did it without having to reformat the drive. In all honesty it would of been a little easier to just wipe it clean and be back up in a few hour.

Do you realise that the first virus was written for a mac! The only reason why windows is attacked as much is becuase its the majority. I have found a few viruses for unix/linux also on a few friends pcs. Each platform has its ups and down.

Take firefox for an example. Everyone switched to it from IE due to the lack of issues with it but now that firefox is going main stream guess whats getting attacked now?

I recently took care of phony anti-virus program problem on my mother's machine. I downloaded a program called "Malwarebytes" I think it was called. Worked great to remove a program call MS Antivirus.

Back on topic, if you want a $5000 cab, I'll sell you mine with the rest of the truck thrown in free.....
