Last week went to the bone yard and right in the front was a rust free 59 Pontiac. It even had the original hubcaps and chrome. Unfortunately it was now only about two feet high. What a waste of some really rare parts.

I found out why and what they do with them, they cut them in half and send them over as scrap (no tires allowed) and once there they rebuild them and sell them as used cars/trucks,The mechanic that works at the junk yard has a cousin that lives in Egypt and got it set up thru him but have not checked into it to see if other yards a doing the same.
Also 95% are V8 engines and fords, trucks and vans.
