funny problem

hey guys, i usually hang at the 48 - 60 area but i have an issue with a 90 xlt 2wd, it has a 351/man set up thats stock, when i come back into town from the farm ap 12 miles at highway speed, the red engine management light comes on, turn the key off the on restart light goes out and stays out untill i come back in from the farm, the only other time it does it is if i take it into a city in traffic conditions.
the air pump is removed, new earth cabling fitted, no vac leaks that i can tell, anyone struck this before?

You need to pull the codes, see Ford Fuel Injection, they have a simple DIY method to flash the codes on the dash, and code definitions are also there.

Sounds better than "ground cable" or "ground wire".
