Trailer lights - need help

I have a 01 f350 and a 14ft H+H flatbed trailer. Well just recently the lights decided to act up. I plug them in. turn the pickup lights on the trailer lights come on. I step on the brake, the trailer lights go off. One turn singal works, one does not. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom

Sounds like a bad ground; make sure they're clean and rust-free on the trailer and 350. The trailer's bulb sockets may be rusty also and need cleaning.

I Agree, Bad Ground. A loose ground can do all kinds of strange things.

I agree and also add "check the plug connection to pickup" as the ground connection could be corroded.

Guess Tom hasn't had time in the last 2-1/2 months to check out the grounds.
