Hey Don... I have added some more fire power to my computing arsenal over the weekend. I ended up picking up 2-2GB DDR2 667 MHz RAM memory modules for a Franklin. I figures that this way in case I can not get the other replaced under warranty, I am already good to go.

The additional power is while in the store I was just asking some questions on laptops because I almost bought one last year instead of the desktop. My wife blew my mind when she told the guy that we would take one and that she had been thinking about getting one for awhile. It is not the fastest or meanest one on the market but it does real IMHO. It is a Toshiba Satgellite L305D-S5881 with a AMD Turion X2 Dual Core Mobile Processor RM-70 (2.0 GHz), 3 GB RAM, 800 MHz FSB, 200 GB HD. Very well equipped for a reasonable cost.
This way if one of them goes down again, at least we have the other one for internet access.

Sounds like a good deal... I like the Toshiba Laptops.. I almost bought one years ago, but couldn't justify it..
The problem with most laptops they are not speed demons.. If you want anything over 2gb CPU the price goes way up..

I hope you got the warranty??

A warranty on a laptop is essential, because you will drop it or bang it around.

Yes sir we did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if we do not need it for a repair, we can at least get a replacement battery out of it.

Well I hate to run, but break time is over and I need to get back to cutting wood especially seeing that I took today off to do so. TTYL guys.

Have you ever heard of Michael Amante??? He is singing there on Friday night.. Great voice and a good show..

The rest of the weekend is probably just same old, same old..

I'm scheduled to work Saturday and Monday...but...rumor is that we may be closed on Monday!!! So...it might be time to visit some of the money that I have left with the Indians for safe keeping!!!

We're also closing early on Friday...ownership is having a pig roast to thank the loyal employees for their dedication to the organization!!! The real story is...let's spend a couple gee whizzers to make them forget the 10s of thousands we screw them out of the rest of the year...they're stupid...they won't see through our ruse!!! OH...and we can write it off on our taxes!!! Now...don't get me started!!!
