I installed my Regulated Return Kit this weekend that I got from ITP. Looks great but I had a few problems along the way:
The rubber bushings used in-between the main supply and return line that connect to the bowl are a horrible design. They were extremely hard to get on and then the supply one leaked and I had to find a hose pin Pep Boys to match it and cut and shave it down to replace it, very annoying, they should just have been flair fittings, would have saved me a lot of time.
My batteries craped out, they are 7 years old and the stock ones that came with the truck but did they have to go now! .. not an issue with the kit just annoying.
The serious problems: My SES light is now on, anyone know why or how to resolve this?
Finally, when I started my truck after it sat for a full night after the first drive with the kit in I thought it was going to stall out, the RPM's were dropping from 1 to 0 over and over until I gassed it a bit and then it was ok, haven't started the truck this morning yet, hopefully that doesn't happen again but does anyone know what that was about!?!
But I must say I like the look of the gauge under the hood
I would recheck all the connections to make sure they are tight and not leaking. Also how much fuel pressure are you getting on the gauge? Try adjusting the pressure, I keep mine around 65-67psi. Otherwise call Dennis at ITP and I am sure he will help you figure it out.
Well 3-4 psi will not clear the ses light and with no leaks it must be non related to the reg return. Try to find someone close that can read codes and find out why the light is on.

IMO, I would contact Dennis at ITP with any issues or even suggestions you have/had with his RR kit. Dennis is a straight up guy very well known in the Diesel world. He will or would have helped you out in a flash.
Open forum bashing won't get you far with vendors. Just saying, not
this is the very first time i have heard any thing like this...and there are a bunck of ITP R&R kits on this forum...if it was as simple as a flair fittings.. it probably would be that way...maybe it was the wrench turning the fitting??
Did you remember to plug your MAP sensor line in after installing the kit. You must have forgotten to plug something in, recheck everything.
That is what Dennis said also, so I am going to have to look everything over again, I may have just bumped something else loose.
I was not bashing about the rubber bushing, just critiquing.
I did not mean to be bashing about the rubber bushing, just critiquing when still frustrated. I thought that the kit was extremely well put together, and the ITP parts look great!
