Roll Call!!!!!

Well. . . I would like to spin-off of sierraben's "Whatever happened to . . ." thread with a Roll Call, to see who stands up.

Also, how 'bout a quick 'What have you been doing all summer' to spice things up.

Thanks.

Here goes.

00BlueOvalRanger (duh)

Still hanging around as long as I'm welcome.
Working and trying to keep up with the family.
Oldest daughter got married in April.
Youngest daughter went to Europe in July for three weeks.

The two boys aren't so hard to keep up with (or watch out for!)

Next. . . . . .

Still around, check in here nearly everyday.

Work in town 5 nights a week (in on Sunday night, off on Friday morning). Don't mind the hours, but can't stand my lead guy, so I'm on the lookout for a new town job.

Always lots of stuff that needs done around here. Trying to work on the inside of my house, as well. Kind of slow going, since I never was much of a carpenter.

Had plenty of bad weather earlier this summer, but none of the flooding that other parts of the state suffered. Crops around here don't look too bad (I've seen plenty worse), but still not too optimistic about yields. Of course, that's just the pessimist in me... I probably say that every year.

Getting prepared to get in the fields and get the crops out.

Other than that... nada.

I'm still here, but usually just during the week.
It's been really busy at work and I did not see any usual summer slow down. Could be a good thing.
My girls will both be in high school this year. A freshman and sophomore. They start tomorrow and Wednesday.
Truck is doing fine. I need to get some repairs done before winter though.
Oh and dog is fattening up really well

Mostly camping then noticed the sides of our fiver were starting to bulge in spots so just today we purchased a new unit and will set it up in our site for the long weekend. My wife is looking at 2 possible surgeries but with the long waits here it could be a long time until things are resolved. So the new trailer cheers her up. The other down-side of the summer is we buried my best buddy last week who died of colon cancer after a miserable 3 year fight. He was determined to the end.

Sorry to hear about your buddy.

As for me, well, I'm still fixing big rigs 4 days a week.
Probably gonna finish painting what my wife started a few months back. Gotta do the trim.
Been in the gym consistently (4 or 5 days a week) since May. Went from a 34 to a 32 waist, so I had to buy new shorts, since my favourite pair is now too big. Gotta buy some new shirts now, they're getting too small.
Went camping with the inlaws in July.
Going to a buddy's cabin for the long weekend.
Got a couple free Budweiser hats from the Cloverdale Rodeo in May.

Probably chuck some more socks tomorrow too.
