i have a 84 f250 6.9 diesel and i have to tanks the rear tank i have been use 1 micron filtered veg oil. and i started to find out that the tank was glogged about half tank. i tried to blow air into the tank line to hopefully unglogg it but no luck so far. and i tried to suck out fuel from tank but no luck. question is has anybody ran into the same prob? and if so what did they do to fix the prob? if you have any nice helpfull suggestions please let me know... thnak wvo diesel freak...
I also cannot stand reading a post like this one, but given that this guy has vegetable oil in his tank, I am guessing that he is doing the best that he can on the grammar/punctuation/spelling side of things.
Here is what you need to do:
Step 1. Take the truck to a good mechanic and let him take the tank out of the truck and clean it and put it back in, and have him clean out the fuel lines at the same time.
Step 2. Do not put vegetable oil in your tank again. Running vegetable oil through a filter does not turn it into bio-diesel. It just turns it into filtered vegetable oil.
diesel freak youve got some problems. What is wrong with you. why would you put vegy oil in ur gosh d*** fuel tank. the truck aint gonna run on vegy oil unless it goes through the whole sientific engineering to turn it into bio diesel
