upfitter Switches
Hi all ...
I am wanting to put a set of the upfitter switches into my 04.. IIRC they WERE offered in 04 correct??? Or this is going to be a 05 up thing?? I asked while at my dealer recently, BUT he isnt hte brightest bulb in the place, while he showed me a set, I dont know if they were for a 04 or not.
I Do rember that he told me, they required the use of a control box..that the switches werent just switches.
Somebody wanna fill me in here? I know there are some really knowledgeable people, and even some that sell this kinda stuff, hanging around... soo...

I've been kicking this around for a while, too. Check out this thread from the tech folder: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/4...info-here.html. I believe it is for an '04. There are a couple other threads out there on it as well. I did read that a couple of guys got the '05 bottom dash piece that had the cutout for the switches. Sounded like a good idea, but I never saw pics after the install. Some day I'll take the time to do it.

hehehe..train horn...i just installed a big whopping one on my truck today..have it hooked to a momentary switch for now..just push the button..sure hope at least one of them switces is a momentary switch to use for the horn.
