Anyone have a polished stainless steel light bar on their '08 Super Duty that you could give me some information on?

Or, do you know if light bars for '05/'06 Super Duty's will fit an '08?

Have been searching the threads and the internet with little luck so far.

Because they changed the bumper and grille, I wouldn't expect a custom fit bar (like a bull bar) to fit. Carr's powder coated universal light bar and license plate holder or a pre-runner bar (like fabtech's) should work. However for a bull bar or grille guard, you should wait until someone makes a model spec'd for your application. Of them, TrailFx makes a less expensive SS bull bar, Waag and Manik make the nicest products and Westin is good in between product.

I've looked at the various bull bars and they didn't work for me. Really like the ICI prerunner style light bar. It's functional as far as mounting lights, but not too overbearing.

Nice looking SD you have and I like the mods you have listed.

 

I could never find a chrome/stainless pre-runner bar for my truck several years ago and had to make my own. Later took it back off. Got tired of banging into it when I went around the front of the truck.
