Be sure it's leaking from the t-stat housing. When I did the flush & fill (with Rotella ELC) my pump finally gave up the ghost (@140,000miles). If it's coming out the weep hole, you'll probably not be able to see it except for where it's dripping off your harmonic balancer. Swapping out the water pump is actually pretty easy, just make sure you get/borrow/rent the proper tools for removing the fan.
