Oasis Report Help & Question
Went to a Ford Dealership today and asked them to run an Oasis for me on an Ex that I am looking at a different dealership. Was told by the service person that they could not give me an Oasis because it contained private information and all they could tell me was if there had been any warranty work done. Has anyone had this problem.
Doesnt an Oasis tell more then just Warranty work. Doesnt it report repair history as well if done at a Ford Dealership?
Anyway, can someone run a report for my on 1FMNU43S9YED77998.

OASIS only provides info regarding warranty repairs, outstanding recalls/FSAs/campaigns. It will also provide build date...warranty start date..."As Built" info. The only personal info it might have is if their is an ESP on the vehicle...as the names must match when claims are filed.

What a loaded question that is!!! If it fits your needs...you do your due diligence and check it out carefully...maybe even have an independent mechanic check it out...and it fits your budget...go for it!!!
