Rear end sagging a bit

I have a 1981 F-150 that was originally a 2wd but converted to a 4wd. It has the original leaf springs in the rear and a 4 inch block. The rear end has about a 2 inch sag and I am trying to figure out the best (and cheapest) way to correct the problem. I thought about adding another block to it, but figured out that was a bad idea to have stacking blocks. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

The 4x4 springs are probably taller than the original 2x4 springs. Replace the shock while you are at it.

Sometimes you have to give up and pay for things. Sure it hurts some, but when the truck is back together and handling better, you wont be sorry.

Two cheap choices:

Used junkyard springs.

AAL's.

If you put a lift in an original 4wd truck, then you do have stacked blocks. The factory had about a 2 inch block, with a arm on it that goes up and hits a rubber bumper. If you buy a 4 inch lift, it comes with a block that you put on top of the original bumper block.
