I am new here and I have to change my rear brake rotor and pad on my 2000 F 350 DRW, do any of you know where to find the torque spec for the rotor, bearing etc.
To Remove:
NOTE: The brake rotor is part of the hub on all dual rear wheel axle applications. CAUTION Never allow a brake caliper to hang from the brake hose.
1. Safely raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the rear wheels.
3. Remove the two bolts and the brake caliper with anchor plate as an assembly.
4. If equipped with dual rear wheels; Remove the hub assembly. Remove the disc-to-hub bolts.
5. If equipped with single rear wheel; Separate the brake rotor from the hub. To
Install:
1. Install brake disc onto hub (Single rear Wheel).
2. Place brake disc onto hub assembly and install bolts. Tighten to 94 ft-lb (127 Nm).
3. Install brake caliper and anchor plate assembly. Tighten to 128 ft-lb (173 Nm).
4. Install wheel assemblies and lower vehicle.
