Cleaned EBPS sensor now question on up pipes
OK I saw the post about cleaning the EBPS sensor and figured I'd do it sure enough it was clogged up. Then you know one thing leads to another so I tore thru the engine to do the up pipes so do you know if there is a gasket that is thicker than stock which will compress against the pipes better? This is a joke how they came stock of coarse they will leak.I'm call my local inter shop for bellowed pipes tomorrow but if they don't have them I'll have to stick with stock since school starts next week and working 50hrs a week I wont have time till Dec. to do this again. Thanks for any help.

i would try hard for the bellowed..ITP now has them as well..if you really need this done now and cant get bellowed..stock donuts are 20 bucks at ford..and the small block chevy exhaust donuts fit as well....you realy need to put the antisiez to the butt and flanges so the donuts will fill the gap and make a nice fit around the pipes...Small Block Chevy V8 (Napa) F17250

I would also recommend getting the bellowed up-pipes. I put bellowed pipes a couple weeks ago. the top passenger flange on the stock up pipes will probably a problem with the bolts breaking. I had one break and the other was going to break. After taking the bottom flange off, the pipe fell out the top. But I had the advantage of having the turbo and pedestal off when I did mine. You will be doing this again if you just put new donuts in.
