update on Eddie

my truck will be parked for 3 weeks on the 22nd.

I had the thread "help! truck stalls" the day after it started happening. we narrowed it down to the carburetor needs a rebuild. so on a Tuesday my dad got the kit and the carb and left it at a buddy's house. he (the buddy) was gonna tear it apart on Saturday, let it soak in chemicals, and we were supposed to come on Sunday and put it back together. so on Sunday we went to the guy's house and he forgot to take it apart. so we took it apart let it start soaking. the next weekend he put it back together and lost a part in his yard. so he called around and found one. this weekend he should have it together totally and we'll put it back on the truck and get Eddie goin' again.

since I got a little bit of money saved up from summer job I'll have enough to fill it up twice and figure out the miles per gallon or gallons per mile.

Hope it turns out good for you. By the way, I was driving back from Houston this past weekend and saw an exit to get to Flatonia. I can't remember if it was on I-10 or 71 that I saw the sign.
