LAST EDITED ON 28-Oct-01 AT 08:45 PM (EST)[p]I would like to convert my '87 f-250 wipers to intermittant style. Can I just replace the switch, or will the motor have to be changed as well? Thank you in advance.
Go to the wrecker and find a XLT or Lariat.
Broncos work too.
Get the Switch and the Module to make it all happen.
The module is a black box with connectors that fit between the switch and the regular harness.
That's all you need.
Now why couldn't you have had a 73 instead of an 80's truck.
I have a intermittent system I don't need
I orderd a replacement for mine from lmc new. Im not sure how the wiring on your truck is but on mine there was a harness with two connections on either end. one pluged into the connector that would normally plug into a switch w/o intermittent, and the other plugged into the switch. kind of like an adapter. now on my 77 I just figured what leads needed to go to what terminals and made my own harness. has been working beautifully for years.
