Can anyone tell me what Gypsum KS is like? We found a house on Craigslist and plan to call about it tomorrow.

I am not even sure I have been through there. I used to know some people that lived there. They seemed to like it, but it seemed like it was 20 or so miles out of Salina, the only real place to do any shopping in that area.

I heard it was small, but a nice little town. People very friendly. Close to Silina without the hassles (or taxes)

My wife called about the house today. The owner told us what we need to send him to approve us renting it. I just got to get past that green paint.

Gypsum is about 15 miles from the south edge of Salina, but also the south edge is where most of the shopping is at in Salina. Walmart, Sam's Club, mall, Target, Lowes, etc. It is an easy drive.

I have a friend who just moved from Gypsum and may be familiar with the house and some of the landlords there. If you want to pm me info, I could touch base with him to see if he knows the people etc.

He didn't give us a address on the house I guess the better half forgot to ask. I posted a link to the house in my first post here.It is a older 6 bedroom 2 story house. I'm sure it will be hard to heat but maybe I can figure a way around that.

The add has 216 King for an address and that's going to be crossed the street from the old school that has sat empty for like 15yr. Ask away I grew up there still have family there.

Well I've been gone a long time so I don't know who lives there anymore. The house north of that one was where the Methodist Preacher lived the house south I think His widow still lives there. It should be quite like I said no one a crossed the street. It is a sand street.

OK thanks. It looks like a good deal on the house. I will let everyone know if we are able to get it.
