Temp gauge accuracy
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 11-Nov-01 AT 10:25 PM (EST)]I have an 89 F-150 5.0 w/AC, and wonder how accurate the temp gague is. I know the oil pressure one is a joke, so a mechancial gauge has replaced that. My temp gauge never seems to register anything. I bought my truck during the summer, and even in heavy stop and go traffic, it barely made it to the "N". So far no overheating problems, at least none that are obvious. So, is this normal, or is the gauge bad?
