Getting ready to replace brakes on 2000 X. Other vehicles I own need the tool to 'push' piston back into caliper. WIll I need the tool for my 2WD rear disc or do they just push back in with C-clamp?
IS their a link to the complete replacement precedure someone could provide? Thanks
I followed the following for my front brakes...not sure how much different the rears are...BTW...you will note a 'C' clamp used to depress the caliper piston.
Also, be sure and open the bleeder when you push the calipers in so that you don't push potentially scorched fluid back into the line. It's also a good idea to bleed the brakes enough so that you completely change the fluid.
