What is this?
My friend has a 72 f100. In the drivers door jam at the hindges, Below the light switch is a device looks almost like a thermestat out of a drier. It has 2 large red and black wires. My 71 has the has the hole for it with screw holes but thats it. Any ideas?

That's the adjustment mechanism for the thermo-nuclear
radiation shield in case you're driving beside a Ch..y truck.
