Door interchangability questions
I have a 99 x-cab and am starting to look for a couple of better doors to replace mine with. They are starting to show rust on the outside of all 4 now. I have found a couple but have noticed several differences. Are power window doors useable? Can my power items just be switched over to manual door shells? Does it matter where the speaker is. It seems there is a note on some new replacement doors about the speaker being horizontal or vertical. What about the years? Will a third door from a '97 fit the same spot on my '99?
I have found 3 doors from a '97 but they are manual with the horizontal speaker. Any help appreciated. I figure to put on some better doors and maybe get another 3 or 4 years on the truck.
