fullsize Bronco windshield

Will a full size 1979 Bronco windshield fit a 1972 Ford truck? I found what looks like a new windshield on a Bronco at the junkyard and it looks very similar. I tried a few windshield websites but they only gave me prices...not part numbers. Thanks - David

D3TZ-1003100-C Windshield-Clear / D3TZ-1003100-D Windshield-Tinted.

Fits: 1967/79 F100/350 & 1978/79 Bronco.

The windshield weatherstrip used on 1967/72's is not the same as 1973/79's.

The difference is in the 4 corners.

I always thought the windshield was the same from 67-79 but that's the first time I ever had it confirmed by an authority. I know the rear window is different on the 67-72 vs. 73-79 but what about the door glass?

The 1964/72, 1973/79 Ford truck and 1973/79 car (where Bronco parts are listed thru '79) parts catalogs are the authority, cuz that's where the info came from.

The door and vent glass used on 1967/72 F100/350's is different than what is used on 1973/79 F100/350's and 1978/79 Bronco's.

Thanks very much. I was kinda sure about the full size trucks up to '79 but didn't know about the 78/79 fullsize Bronco. I am off to the yard to pull the windshield, which actually looks new. I also found a p/s box off a '76 f150 4x4 that I am going to pick up. These boxes are hard to find and the yard only asks $25.00. Good day at the yard. Thanks again Number Dummy.

1978/79 Bronco's use the same front sheet metal as the 1973/79 F100/350's.

The front doors are also the same, as is the dash and most of the mechanical parts.

The reason the side glass is different is, There is more of a bend in the
73-9 model than in the 67-72 models
