Electronic shift 4WD not engaging
I own a 1993, F-150 4x4 w/5.0L V-8, electronic shift 4WD with automatic locking hubs.
When the "4wd high" button on the dash is pushed there is a clicking noise coming from the but the electronic control shift module area but the 4wd will not engage.
After researching the diagnosis, I believe it could be the "electric shift motor" mounted to the transfer case has gone bad.
Do you have any ideas why the truck is not engaging into 4WD?
