check engine light.
o5 eb expy, had a "check electronic throttle control" displayed on truck. i guess it went into limp home mode, and today i tried it, no message, truck runs good, but the engine lght is still displayed. tried to read codes with my reader, just under steering wheel to the right. nothin at all. how can i delete the engine light?

Buy a new reader. Your old one won't work with an 04 or newer Ford.
Otherwise, either disconnect the battery negative cable for 10-15 minutes to reset the computer (also resets the clock and radio) or pull the fuse that supplies KAM power to the PCM.
