Turn Signal Problems!
Stupid Question.... My truck, a 97 F250 XLT LD is having some issues with its turn signals...They work, until you step on the brake pedal. When I got to my apt. tonight, I verified that the brake lights are working, but when you step on the brake, the signals stop flashing. If you manually push the signal down, the signals work then...
BTW, it does the same thing, left or right, and it is somewhat intermittent. Sometimes they work fine, others they dont... any ideas here?

multifunction switch
sounds like the turn signal switch is going out
you could try removing the switch, cleaning it with electrical parts cleaner, let it dry and reinstalling it.
