Hey guys,
I have an issue with the carb manifold I'm using, the Edelbrock 2121. My old GT40 intake had a channel for water at the back of the manifold, whereas the 2121 does not! Would this be an issue with my cooling? I really don't think so but I wanted some opinions. Also, the 1250 felpros I have have provisions for the rear water jackets. is it ok if I just seal them with silicone as usual and call it a day? Thanks!
What does the rear water crossover suppossed to do? If it came that way from the factory, they had to put it there for a reason, right?
That's what I think. But really, it just flows right over. At least the front has purpose with the sensor bung/heater hose inlet and the thermostat. Hell, if the Cleveland family does it, why can't the windsors!?
I even asked the machine shop owner that was building my 351W at the time about it. He said it wasn't needed and I haven't had any heating problems since running it.
