Alarmed.
I finished my alarm install. Just fyi, ford VSMs take 8 diodes to isolate the door triggers.
I think I did a nice job. I tapped each door, I have priority unlock, it will open and close my Bedlocker and unlike the previous (professionally installed) remote start, there is only one 1" taped up bundle of wires under the dash.
The alarm was a Compustar P2W900FM-AS. I had to length the leads on the remote pager because I wanted it in the back glass. The RPS will alert me when someone taps on it, it will also unlock my doors if tap out the right code. Priority unlock is almost a pain, but kind of fun to build. I had to cut one of the wires in the drivers door lock actuator, run a pair of wires back to my relay, and wire the relay correctly.
I plan on hunting down a nice reed switch and wiring the tailgate. The remote will show me if the trunk is open, so I have that wire run, but not hooked up yet.
