Saw something interesting yesterday

I pulled up to a stop light yesterday at lunch, I was driving my DD escort. Well a 05-07 350 CC DRW pulled up next to me, as I was admiring it I noticed that it had cummins badges on the front fenders just where a Dodge would have them. I thought to myself WTF. Well when he took off there was no doubt by the sound that in infact did have a Cummins in it!!! Wish I could have had a peek under the hood and what not. But anyway, just thought I would share that.

I've seen some of them too. Looks like a pretty straight forward swap.

Yeah I knew they were out there, just didnt expect to see on locally. Kinda caught me off guard.

Yeah I bet. I thought it was cool. Definetly considered when it comes time to replace my engine.

You might want to talk to a few people about that "straight forward swap". Unbroken on FTW has not has his truck for a year and DRSpeed was out of a truck for 6 or so months. I KNOW this is my next step motor wise. The 12v can make more horse power then they tell you on that site. The fuel plates and some other little things can bring you up towards the 350 or more mark. That is with a few simple mods. I am really thinking of the 12v (carb motor of the diesel world). Simple to work with and can build a ton of power with some simple mods.
