intermittent wipers
It is becoming very clear that I don't fully understand how windshield wipers circuit work. So here is my question.
I'm installing a non-ford, i.e. GM, tilt column in my 56 F100. This column has all the wiper functions built into a level on the column. It has high, low, intermittent and washer control. I have a schematic of circuit and wonder if I should just use the control module from the same vintage vehicle that the column came from? And if I did this what are the chances the wiper motor will be compatible with the new circuit.
Last but not least is there a place one can read about the basics of how wiper circuits work?
Many thanks,
Rick
