I bought a 64 f100 a few weeks ago and I came across mt first problem today and I cant figure it out. The car had no juice at all. I took the battery in and it was dead so I got a new one. Still no power. I cleaned the cables and I finally got power. But the car still wont turn over. When I turn the key it makes a clicking sound. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to FTE
Clicking sound is indicative of two things. Dead battery or starter solenoid.
Does the new battery check out OK?
Yes, I realize it's new, but all batteries today come with the acid in them (wet charge) and might go bad depending on how long they've been sitting on a shelf.
If the battery is OK, it's prolly the starter solenoid, aka the starter relay. It's mounted on the fender inner apron just adjacent to the battery.
The batteries used in Ford products have a group number that ends with an F or FA. Like R-24F or R-27F.
If the group number ends in a G, that's a GM battery, and the terminals are reversed. When some ppl install a GM "G" battery in a Ford, they hook the battery cables up backwards.
Welcome to the thread - hope you find it as useful as I have.
Another thing might be worth a quick inspect before you buy a new relay is the starter itself. If the positive cable connection is corroded or loose or the starter bolts have worked loose it can lose ground. Sometimes a good whack with a hammer can persuade it to start.
I must be an idiot cause my friend brought over a volt meter and we tested some wires and it turned out to be the ground wire from my batter was cut underneath where I couldn't see it. So I am officially the dumbest person on earth. HAHAHA
No your not, the guy that cut the ground wire is the dumdest on earth! Consider yourself lucky that you found the problem that quickly and that you have a friend with a voltage meter. Welcome to the site, there is alot of great info. to be shared here.
the statarter relay was the problems on my truck not starting over the past few weeks... the old man was at pull-a-part for his car and saw a older but not quite a 60s ford sitting in the yard... so he pulled the relay off of it for me... and still didnt work... relized the battery was dead...[after the battery was nice and charged it started on my 'new' relay... but tried out the old one and didnt do jack stuff...]
