No. But I was here when the big one hit in 1989, though.
I've been through all of the earthquakes, being that I'm from here.
I knew what you meant when you posted the big one in '87.
It interrupted the World Series between the Giants and the A's.
What a rush.
Have you been through an anomaly of that magnitude?

nope. only felt 2 shakers. one very small that felt like a truck driving past the firehouse, but it cracked the floor.
and one at 2 am, a little larger, that shook the house enough to wake me up. i thought a car missed the turn, and hit the house.
do you believe i live on top of a fault zone, but only had 2 quakes in the 52 years i have been around??

yup.
and i pumped out of a perfectly good airplane 4 times back in the late 70's. i did not make the 5th jump after one of the guys in my group splatted into a factory after his chute did not open.
do you think that ruined his day??

Heck, I suspect it probably ruined his whole weekend. Factories will do that to ya, ya know.
