ummmm lets see.
i was on the force for 7 years before i was forced to leave due to a broken neck injury after an auto accident.
my father was a cop for 50 years.
my uncle was on the force for 30 years.
my other uncle retired after 30 years too.
my cousin has been a seargent for 10 years now.
his daughter is in the acadamy.

so i will have to say...............YES!!!

was that the answer you were expecting??
