I am having trouble with my CB. I was wondering if it was possible to blow something if you key a CB mike without an antenna attached. (I found the antenna on the trail on my way back). I've replaced the antenna but I can't seem to transmit.
You may have blown the finals out of the CB if you keyed it and tried to talk to someone. Depending on where you live, you probably need to find a truck stop along an interstate. At many of them, you will find a radio shop by them who can fix it for you. If not, I have a place I send all my radio's to - he is in Ocala, FL. Richard does extremely good work there.
If you need his address and number, just let me know....
