Rear Taillight blub
on a 03 expy. How do you replace the Rear Taillight blub ?

I can see the connector looking up from the under the truck, only way else would be when opening the tailgate I see two screws.

undo the two screws and the light assembly will come out.

Those two screws are the only thing to remove, then pull whole light assembly hard. There are 2 rubber covered post that are holding opposite side of screws.

The only annoyance is that they are Torx screws, other than that straight forward.

common bulb is usually a 3157?

Not to us old school guys who are used to round socket bulbs like 1157, 1156.... We dont have these in our tool boxes like the old styles (which I have at least 3 of each in my tool box or glove compartments). Sooner or later we will catch up...

I still have more of the old school bulbs than new, but maybe that's because nothing uses them anymore.
