Need Help
Hi guys. I have an uncle who's gotten 2 tickets now for having a cracked windshield on his '65 F-100. I was hoping someone from this site could point us in the right direction for a replacement window or might possibly have an extra one sitting around that they'd like to sell.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can buy a brand new windshield from National Auto Glass aka NAGS (or any autoglass shop). Three types are available.
Clear, tinted, or tinted with extra tint along the top, called a "Sun Band" windshield.
The windshield is the same for all 1961/66 F100/350's and the big trucks F/N/NT/T500/1100.
Also fits 1967/69 F/T800/1000's and 1967/69 N/NT500/1000's.
NAGS # = W602
You will prolly need to replace the windshield weatherstrip (w/s w/strip), there are two different types. Custom Cabs have bright stainless windshield mouldings, so the w/s w/strip is grooved.
The Standard Cabs do not have mouldings, so there's no groove. You can buy a new w/s w/strip from several different sources, the finest quality is made by denniscarpenter.com.
Visit FTE's ARIZONA CHAPTER FORUM....there are some mighty helpful folks there that can prolly tell you where you can find a used windshield locally.
Go to the forum main page, scroll down till you come to the chapter section. AZ Chapter members Garbz2 (Phoenix) and Bill W (Tucson) both have trucks like yours.

If you are in a rush to clear the tickets, your best bet, as I typed above, is to post this question in FTE's ARIZONA CHAPTER FORUM.
Garbz2 is the most helpful member on these trucks (he may even have a windshield), but I believe he's out of town till this weekend. Bill W is another person that can help.
There's a couple of obsolete Ford parts dealers on the west coast, and one dealer has a lot of older stuff, all have websites.
I did an internet search for a new Ford original..no one has it. Sorry.

Like Bill said, any auto glass dealer can get it for you, probably overnight too. The good rubber replacement gasket is made by Dennis Carpenter in Concord NC and sold through their dealer network.

DUDE! right now in Tucson's craiglist there is a windshield Brand new one! I saw it a few months back in person. only $ 75.00 There is a few things for 61-66 F100 on that site right now But dont belive him about the other stuff all the metal is banged up perty bad...
