Heater core flow

Hi:

I´m own a 99 SOHC navi, and i have a doubt about the flow of the water in the heater hoses.

There is a hose that connect to a tube who comes under the intake manifold and the other connect to a elbow in the rear of the right side of the intake manifold too.

If i´m correct the water flow from the water pump through the tube under the intake, go into the heater, exit from the heater and then go to the elbow in the top of the intake. I'm right? or the flow is totally in opposite way?

Any comments wil be appreciated.

Thanks

Gabo

It's the reverse of that. Positive pressure in the intake manifold leaving the cylinder head forces water into the heater core, and negative pressure(or a lower pressure than leaving the intake manifold/cylinder head) allows the water to return to the back side of the water pump via the tube under the intake manifold.
