AC will not work
Hello,
My compresor will engage for about 5 minutes, then shut off, If I turn the unit off and re start, it will do the same,

Sorry,
1989 F150, 5.0, Yes it did work fine, and has been re charged.

Sounds like low pressure to me but if you say its been re charged... I would verify that is has the right pressure.

It has R136 ports (aftermarket) on it,
I can not answer the rest of the questions I just purchaced the truck about a month ago.
