That problem never goes away does it? Man I could tell stories about that from the high school days haha. Some good, some bad, all funny
The other thing about high school, is I was the same height I am now, maybe 20 lbs lighter (thanks acl!!). Along with a quick tongue, the size gets some people wanting to try to throw fists
I can beat that haha
It wasnt much of a fight, but this big older native guy was trying to edge me on to get in one. I had a few too many beers (back in the day that was common) and was sitting in my car. He gave me a "love tap" in the side of the face to get me going, and it worked So I fling off my glass, swing open the door, rush out of the car, and fall flat on my face! (to be fair to me it was that time of the year where there wasnt snow yet, but it was icy all over plus the beers didnt help haha)
What a way to start a fight lol.
In the end I got a little fat lip, from him jumping on me and giving me one while I was down. I got a few very weak punches in, and thats about it.
Next day I seen the fella downtown, pulled my car over and asked him if he wanted to give it a shot when I was sober. He couldnt stop apologizing (even though he was way bigger then me) and finally I let it go.
Found out later he was a fighter, but only if your so drunk ya cant stand haha.
lol...thats a good one... i wasn't much of a scrapper really, never had the opportunity. there was one close one, staying at my cousins and all reved up for a quad derby in the morning...wake up to all 3 quads sitting on flat tires. he knew right off who done it so off we marched to the guys house. he answered the door and i hauled him outside, but his father walked out behind him and asked what all the fuss was. i told him what his jackass son had done. kids dad grabs him by the seat of the pants and, made him apologize, then hauled him out to the garage and give him some tuning in we were about 14 at the time.
As long as reasonable discipline is used then no problem. Lots of kids now a days threaten to "sue" their parents for discipline and I guess if some shyster lawyer wants to have a go with it them maybe.
