No start after bead battery
Help! Dad's 2000 PSD won't start after he had bead batteries (left lights on). SES light is on. Batteries fully charged. Can't retrieve codes with tuner (won't connect to pcm). Tach doesn't budge during cranking so new CPS-still no budge during cranking. no smoke during cranking. Has never failed since he bought it.
I'm stummped please help Don't wan't to go to the stealership!!

check all fuses under dash and under hood......the PCM on a SD is fused in with the cig. lighter and the fuel bowl heater...if you find it blown..you may want to un plug the fuel bowl heater....

Check to make sure the batteries are really fully charged as well. You can have enough battery to spin the engine pretty fast and still not have enough voltage to fire the injectors. I think it's a minimum of 10.5 volts while cranking to fire them.
